About Us
Kua'ehu means the red-dirt stained back that our Ho'olehua Homestead kane usually get spending whole days shirtless working on their 'aina. Kua'ehu represents the hard working Ho'olehua homestead farmer.

Kua'ehu Farms is a kihapae, a small subsistent farm on the Purdy's Ho'olehua Homestead lot on Lihi Pali Avenue. It is cultivated and nurtured by Justin, Kilia, and their girls, Wailana, Waihala'i, and Waiau. We focus on our local food crops.
Practices
Our farm is a kihapae on our larger family homestead. We use Indigenous & Cultural methods, homesteading, subsistence farming practices. We utilize Korean Natural Farming & Permaculture principles
