About Us
With the help of Sustainable Molokai and Asagi Hatcheries, who helped with education and resources our Poultry Farm Business began in February of 2022.
In the later part of 2022 we applied for a NRCS grant to construct a High Tunnel in hopes of growing tomatoes. We later was approved and it took us up until February of 2024 to complete the High Tunnel and began growing tomatoes. The hope and goals for Kamakani Farms is to do our part in helping Molokai become more self-sustainable.

Practices
Kamakani Farms is a small family run Poultry and Tomato Farm business operated by Cameron and Jacqueline Hiro along with their keiki and mo’opuna. Located on agricultural lands in the Hoolehua Homestead district on Moomomi Avenue, we offer Island fresh, free range local brown eggs and Estiva medium size tomatoes that are grown in our 3000 Sq. Ft. High Tunnel (Greenhouse-type Structure) pesticide free.
