Our small-scale farm began with truckloads of deer dirt, a rich, regenerative, and sustainable soil. Next, we planted a donated basil seedling in the first planter box. Today, we nurture at least seven different garden areas on two sites: a rocky two acres overlooking Molokai's south shore, and a deer-fenced soon-to-be pilot pomegranate orchard on 21 acres on the west end. We malama ka ‘Aina, offer thanks, and birds, chickens, moths (large and small), butterflies, bees, and other pollinators participate. Most everything grows. Our dream is to share as much healthy food with neighbors and local food banks as possible and continue to pass on seedlings to others as we were gifted.
