Mrs. P’s Treats
About Us
Mrs. P’s Treats began as a cottage farm in California while I was on maternity leave. I decided to move home in April to raise my five keiki closer to family, community, and the place that has always felt like home. Although I was born and raised in Kane’ohe, I spent every summer on Moloka’i, and those experiences shaped my love for the island, its people, and the importance of sharing food with ‘ohana. I am a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and also a Hawaiian immersion student. My baking journey began at home, learning from my mom and my grandmother, Winona Kakaio of Mrs. K’s Concessions. They taught me that baking is more than making something sweet—it is a way to show aloha, care for others, continue family traditions, and bring people together for life’s special moments. Mrs. P’s Treats grew from that foundation. Baking always brought me joy but never had the time to fully invest in it until now. Each order is made with aloha and inspired by the values of faith in ‘Akua, Aloha, ‘Ohana, and Lokahi. My goal is to create beautiful, memorable treats that help people celebrate birthdays, gatherings, milestones, and everyday moments.
Practices
Mrs. P’s Treats is a home-based, small-batch bakery in Kaunakakai, Hawaiʻi. We create handmade custom cakes, tiered cakes, NYC bakery cookies, decorated sugar cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and other specialty treats. Our business is guided by our faith in Ke ʻAkua, Aloha, ʻOhana, Lokahi and the belief that food can help people celebrate and connect. Production takes place in a residential home kitchen and follows applicable Hawaiʻi home-based food business requirements. Food handler certification available upon request.
