About Us
I grew up in agriculture my whole life, my parents still run a small cow calf operation on the mainland. I went to school for Plant Science and ended with a BS in Plant Science and a MS in plant breeding. I’ve worked in all aspects of AG over the past 20+ years from conservation/ DLNR, to food safety, biotech and commercial farming. I’ve always relied on homegrown food and strongly believe that sustainable self sufficiency is a skill that is essential to pass down to my children and to help support in my community, which has led me to teach a couple of UHMC classes and expand out of the back yard into the ag park.
