About Us
We are a 1 acre homestead farm in Hoolehua. We have 4 kids who have been homeschooled for the past 2 years and for science are currently learning about aquaponics and also testing out different hydroponic methods.
Ho’oulu means to cause to grow, as seeds planted to sprout, to stir up, to rouse to action, or to inspire with hope. Our farm’s mission is growing food, growing ohana and growing community. We hope to not only grow food to sell to markets but also create an outdoor learning site where we can inspire homesteaders and others to build their capacity by learning to sustainably grow their own food.

Practices
We grow healthy foods using regenerative agriculture practices that help to build good soil. We also grow foods using aquaponics and hydroponics techniques.
